Gossip Girl - The Complete 1st Season, even though the studio had not yet announced the title. Well, the latter changed this morning as Warner Home Video formally put this release on their schedule, announcing it would be available at retailers on August 19th.
List price, as Amazon has said all along, is $59.98 SRP. This will be for a set of 5 DVDs running 810 minutes for 18 episodes. Video will be anamorphic Widescreen, audio in English Dolby Surround 5.1 (we also see a mention of a Portuguese - Stereo 2.0 track as an option, but we’re not positive about that), and subtitles in English, Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese and Chinese.
Warner has just sent out an e-announcement that contains an early look at the box art and mention the following list of extras included on this set (”four hours of special features”)
